The Maple Ridge Ladies Golf Association (LGA) is a group of women members who are dedicated to the game of golf. The group schedules events providing lots of fun, competition and social activity including lunches, dinners and more.
The Ladies Golf Association meets on the first Monday of every month, with a tournament on the Saturday following the meeting. The ladies also have a regular Monday play day every Monday throughout the year.
The official LGA tournament days are the first Saturday and Monday of each Month. LGA members may play Saturday or Monday, or both days. Each day is a separate tournament with an entry fee of $5 per day that the participant plays. The tounament will be flighted if the number participants is ten or more. The game for both days will be catfight points (based on established or estimated handicap).
It only costs $20 to join the LGA, and you can become a member by contacting one of our Golf Pros, Mike Gill or Gene Matthews. New Maple Ridge Golf Club members joining in 2008 have those annual dues paid for by the Club.
LGA officers for 2008 are: Marcia Flo, President; Gloria Warr, Vice President; Nan Carbonetti, Secretary-Treasurer. Linda Brown is a welcoming ambassador for the group.
The LGA has more than 33 members, and invites all female golfers to join the LGA and enjoy the camaraderie that the LGA has to offer.
The LGA encourages new member participation, and looks forward to growing the association!
